How can we explain how love comes in our lives? For some its fate or a goal for which they've strived And some would say its the beat of angel wings That blow the winds of change that love can bring. To bring to hearts together in romance From this vast world of chance and circumstance A million souls all searching for a home That's larger than this world when we're alone. Some fractured walls of shattered stained-glass panes A heart attacked swears not to trust again And so love falls once more and takes the blame For reckless lovers acting in love's name. Rebuilding hearts and patching up the seams Requires stuff made up of love and dreams And hugs, and touch, and vowing to forgive All this, and more, just may let you're love live. And so it goes, the journey of our lives Of lovers, friends, of husbands and of wives Some work on love or work to make it gone And make love homeless or give their love a home.

What was her fantasy? What were those things that seemed to fill her mind? And what was her life to be? Was she to sigh and dream away her time? In the night she always got to hold you In the night And feel her arms around you In the night What a dream, what a dream, what a very special, tender dream. And how would she start her day? She'd go and search the places where you'd be. And how would she end her day? She'd go home sad and tired and lonely. In the night she always got to hold you In the night And feel her arms around you In the night What a dream, what a dream, what a very special dream. Sometimes we live our lives in happiness We need not live our lives in dream Sometimes we live our lives in loneliness And then how real those dreams can seem. 'Cause in night she always got to hold you In the night And feel her arms around you In the night What a dream, what a dream, what a very special, tender dream.

In the morning light Would it be alright, my love? To hold you tight In the morning light, my love In morning light, my love, my dear In the morning light. Would you be surprised If I kissed your eyes? Then down to your lips Right down to your fingertips In the morning light, my dear In the morning light, my love. In the morning light Would it be alright, my love? To hold you tight In the morning light, my love In morning light, my love, my dear In the morning light.

Dream Love by John Agacki Never been so long without you Things just weren't the same without you Everywhere I went I wished that you were there. Going out just made me lonely Wished that somehow if you only Could have been there with me all of these good times we'd share Been about a year together Gone through fine and stormy weather Found that life is so much better when you are near. As I lay in bed alone, I dreamed love You were lying there right next to me As I lay awake at night, I worried love. Were getting on alright? Did you sleep alone at night? Then the telephone would ring And that would cure most everything 'cause I would hear your voice and know that you were my love. Then my foolish thoughts would shame me You're so pretty can you blame me? There's so many who love to be your love. But you've come back safely home And for awhile you will not roam I'll enjoy the time we'll have to share our love. I'm so happy that I've found you Want to keep my arms around you Want to share life's journey's with you Dream love, dream love, dream love, dream love.

Dancing My Life With You by John Agacki I've been thinking about the times we've spent love Thinking 'bout all the places that we've been I've been thinking about the times we've spent love Thinking 'bout all the loving that I've seen. All the things that we do All the things we've been through Want to go on dancing my life with you. I remember the days before we met love Doing things, but doing them all by myself. I remember the nights before we met love Having dreams I could share with nobody else. But the sun has shone through Since the day we were two Want to go on dancing, romancing, enhancing my life with you.

I Don't Want You To Go by John Agacki I don't want you to go Oh, I'd rather you'd stay It's been so long, you know Once you go away I think you're finally reaching the love That I hold deep inside I think you're reaching the soul That I wanted to hide. You made it clear from the start That you didn't own me And that you wanted a love that was simple and free So I know that the day may come When you might set me free And I'll move on in life With some fine memories. But for now anyway, things seem to be quite alright We make love night or day And sleep peaceful at night I think I'm finally reaching The love you hold deep inside I think I'm reaching the soul That you wanted to hide I don't want you to go.

Thank God, We're Together Again by John Agacki Thank God, we're together again! Thank God, for the dream Of a life with your love! Thank God, we're together again! Sometimes I take my loving for sure Never give it a second thought when you walk out the door You might not come home Leaving me all alone Leaving me to fend for myself In a world without your love. Thank God, we're together again! Your picture hung above my bed I tried to sleep at night But tossed and turned instead Then you spoke to me: "Sleep peacefully, though I am miles away I'll come home. Just let it be." Thank God, we're together again. So place your hand in mine We'll lead the dreamers We'll make the heavens shine Upon the souls that have no love. Thank God, we're together again! Thank God, for the dream Of a life with you love! Thank God, we're together again!

We Will Make Love by John Agacki Well, you ask me if my wandering is done Or if ever I'll chance to go wandering again? Well, it's true I've felt inklings now and then. But enough of that now, your love is here And I will stay with you for many a year Because your love I hold quite dear. So rest your head gently upon my chest We both are quite tired and needful of rest But when we awake, we will be strong And we will make love the whole day long, my love Yes, we will make love the whole day long, my dear. Well, you ask me if I'll ever leave If ever I'll give you occasion to grieve? Well, no better loving have I ever received. Well, you ask me if I'll take you as wife To shield you from danger, protect you from strife? Well, sure I will darling. You’re the love of my life.

Always by John Agacki When first we met, the tears swelled in my eyes Is the love I've longed for all my life? Can this be true? Can this be happening? But you looked at me and your eyes said it all. They said: Always, I'll always be around Always, all through our ups and downs Always. Though you never made a sound Your eyes said: always. And as time passed two hearts grew into one And then I knew, I'd met my only one This was the love I searched for all my life And you took my hand and you helped me understand Our hearts said: Always, we'll always be around Always all through our ups and downs Always, though we never made a sound Our hearts said: always. And now we stand, becoming man and wife And take a vow beginning our new life This is the love we've longed for all our lives And will give a kiss and our kiss will tell us this It will say: Always, surpassing distant time Always, forever, love sublime Always, our souls will intertwine They shall be always. We shall be always.

Paradise Lost by John Agacki I thought I'd found a special place Where I'd found refuge from the race Like an oasis from all care I thought I found my true love there. And so it was for quite some time I thought I'd found a love sublime We laughed and shared our special love As if it were made from above. But one day from another shore Someone came knocking at our door You both had sparkles in your eyes That burned the place where my love lies. Twas at that moment that I knew It never would be just us two And though your loving has been kind I had to leave this all behind. So like a sea bird who's set free I take my flight above the sea And leave this island made of sand To find a perch of heart and hand.
15.
Sad-urday Night by John Agacki I feel so lonely On this Sad-urday night And time seems to drag Like a river Past my life. We'd go eat Sushi And hootchie-kootchie We'd go out dancing on a Saturday night But you don't phone now I'm all alone now I get the feeling that something ain't right. That's why I'm lonely On this Sad-urday night So I'll just pour another martini And make things right I'll just pour another martini And just get tight.

Down At The Palace by John Agacki and Johnny Johnson Down at The Palace at quarter to two Sitting there drinking I had had quite a few Sifting through memories I was thinking of you Letting my life, letting my life go Letting the world, letting the people know. I had to forget you And leave this behind I had to find someone Who could give peace of mind But that sort of person Is so damn hard to find I was letting my life, letting my life go Letting the world, letting the people know. We had all these plans Then you said we were through. How could you treat me so cruel? So every night I sit on this barstool Just letting my life, letting my life go Letting the world, letting the people know. I got up to leave With my head held up high But staggered and stumbled Into each passerby Wiping the tears as they fell from my eyes I was letting my life, letting my life go Letting the world, letting the people know.

Time For Me To Fly by John Agacki Time for me, for me to fly I've been hanging on to hope too long Time for me, for me to fly. I won't change This I know I love you, but he won't go He still lives there in your heart Guess I knew that from the start. You won't change This I know You still miss him and it shows You hang on to memories You won't let your mind get free. Time for me, for me to fly Time for me to get on with my life Time for me, for me to fly. When we love, he's still there I can feel him everywhere When we cuddle, when we kiss Is it his touch that you miss? When I'm gone, he'll be there He'll be hanging in the air Thought my love would change your mind Time to leave this all behind. Time for me, for me to fly Time for me to get on with my love Time for me, for me to fly Time for me, for me to fly And I will fly. Time for me, for me to fly

Loveless Romance by John Agacki Well, he don't really love you But you can't let him go 'Cause whatcha got is better Than what you don't know So your heart and your mind Learn to do this strange dance Of going in circles in a loveless romance. Well, there must have been love once Or so it would seem A foundation built on the clouds of love's dreams But when you come to your senses And out of love's trance You find you've been living in a loveless romance. Well, it's a comfortable rut We can dig for ourselves And the deeper we dig Our dreams stay on the shelf Till they're out of our reach and we cannot enhance The bottomless pit of a loveless romance.

Blues Go Away by John Agacki Oh, blues go away! Don't bother me! 'Cause I got somebody who really loves me And I don't need your tears or your sympathy Oh, blues go away and let go of me. You always were there when I really was down When I was at my worst you were always around Its true you have been my best bad weather friend But right now I sure hope I don't see you again. So blues go away I'm setting you free There's others in need of your sad company Someone sure needs you now and it sure isn't me So blues find your way to your next misery Now the sun it is shining so bright in the sky And its nice to not have all those tears in my eyes Up above there's this beautiful blue Not the grays and the darkness that I got from you! So please go away and just let me be! I don't need you now and you sure don't need me. And I'm making you blue from the loving you see So blues go away! Yeah, blues go away! Oh, blues go away! I'm setting you free! Oh blues, go away! Oh, blues, go away! Oh, blues, go away! I'm setting you free!
